Description

William John v. Hugh Stafford: Manor of Duryard and mills called "Duryard Mills," parcel of said manor in the plaintiff's possession, and mills called "Paynes Mills" in the defendant's possession. Alleged injury to the plaintiff's mills, and obstruction caused by impeding and diverting the stream of the River Exe, &c., &c. [The names and possessions of Anthony Copleston the elder, Anthony Coplestone the younger, and his wife Margaret, Thos. Coplestone, and John Coplestone, late of Nash, Hugh Stafford (defendant's grandfather), and Hugh Stafford (defendant's father), are mentioned.] [See also 6 Geo. 1., Mich., No.]: Devon
