Henry Hankin, Patrick Richd. Peirson (an infant) by Dorothy Sly, spinster, his next friend, "two of the pits." v. Wm. Taylor, John Massey, Wm. Miller, Saml Howet, Jarvis Palmer, Wm. Bunby, Humpy Covell, John Fotheringham, Joseph Fotheringham, Henry Howet, John Sympson, Robert Crookthorn, Willm. Thorpe, Nich. Adingbrooke, Robt. Gay and his wife Margt., Saml Adingbrooke, John Stileman and his wife Arabella, Simon Mason, Richard Mico and his wife Anne, Mr. Hale, Edwd. Foe, "and others.": Authenticity of the last will and testament (dated 8 Jan. 1710) of Ralph Peirson, the elder, of Thorney, in the Isle of Ely (Cambridge) (a copy of which is subjoined), in which will the testator leaves to his wife Susanna (his executrix) his interest in the rectory of Holbeach (Lincoln), under a lease from Richd. Lord Gorges, Baron of Dundalk (Ireland), and bequests to Dorothy Sly his grand-daughter and goddaughter, daughter to Walter Sly, who married his daughter Susan, Peirson Sly his grandson, his son Richd. Peirson, his second daughter Dorothy Ris, his third daughter Rebecca Phillipson, his grandchildren, John Sly, Walter Sly, Abrm. Ris, Jeremiah Ris, Saml Ris, Dorothy Ris, Mingay Ris, Martha Ris, Clement Phillipson, and Susannah Phillipson; his copyhold and freehold lands in Norfolk and Huntingdon, his "adventure lands" [recovered marsh land?], in the parish of Littleport, in the Isle of Ely, his estates in Wisbeach, High Fenn, and Guyburn, in the said Isle of Ely, and in the parishes of Southrey, Methwold, and Feltwell (Norfolk), and Rymsay and Warboys (Huntingdon), &c., &c. [See also 2 Geo. 1., Mich., No. 10, and 3 Geo. 1., East., No. 4.]: Northampton; Cambridge; Lincoln; Hunts; Norfolk.
