Herbert Pye, clerk v. William Rea, gent.: "An estate called `the Priory Estate,' of Monmouth, or the demeasnes of the late dissolved priory of Monmouth," said to have been "purchased by Mr. Geo. White, of New Wear, of and from John Williams, late of the said priory, gent., deceased." Also touching a wood called "the Priory Wood," and the vicarage and parish of Dixton (Monmouth), the village called "Newcastle alias Whitecastell," in the parish of Langattock Vibon Avell alias Langattock (Monmouth), a tenement and lands in said parish called "Teere Marsy" alias "Massies Lands," and a tenement called "the Darren," situate in the parish of Rockfield, &c., &c.
