Description

Sir Edwd. Northey, Knt. (Attorney-General), on behalf of her late Majesty. v. John Sansom, Moyle Breton, Wm. Window, merchant, Nath. Denew, Jane Boys, widow.: Last will and testament of John Moyle, esquire, late of Boughton Aluph (Kent), (defendant Breton's late grandfather), and his estates, including lands called Buckwell Farm, Boughton Corner, White Hill, and Socam farms, and woods in Woodchurch, Kennarton, Wye, Boughton Aluph, Molish, and Godmersham (Kent). Alleged fraudulent contrivances used by defendant Sansom to obtain conveyances of lands from Mary Moyle (daughter and heir of said John Moyle, wife of Robert Breton, and mother of defendant Breton), &c., &c. The defendant Sansom appears to be a Crown debtor. [See 1 Geo. 1., Hil., vizt. Shuter v. Attorney-General and Sansom, Goddard v. Attorney-General and Sansom, and Scandrett v. Attorney-General and Sansom.] [The names and possessions of Dame Mary Moyle and Bridget Moyle (mother and grandmother of said Mary Moyle), Mary Godfrey, Richard Breton (father of Robt. Breton, and father-in-law of said Mary), Bridget Wynn (wife of John Wynn, of Boughton Aluph (Kent), clerk), formerly wife of said testator, John Moyle, Thos. Tooke (late brother of said Bridget Wynn), Sir Henry Furness, Bart., Thos. Godfrey, of St. Paul's parish in Canterbury (former husband of Dame Mary Moyle), and Anne Breton, spinster, are mentioned.] [See also No. 10 in this term.]: Kent
