The Most Noble Lord and Lady Chas. Duke of Somersett and Elizabeth Dutchesse of Somersett his wife, Thos. Davison, Richd. Grieve and his wife Elizabeth, lately called Elizth Thompson, widdow, and Elizabeth Burrell, widdow. v. Edwd. Gray, Anne Patrick, Willm. Ord, Luke Hindmarsh, Nich. Hunter, Richd. Strother, Arthur Strother,"and others.": Manor and barony of Alnwick (Northumberland), belonging to the said Duke and Duchess (in right of said Duchess), the ancient mills there called Alnwick Mills or Alnwick Town Mills, the town of Alnwick, the villages and hamlets of Rugeley, Snipehouse, Shieldikes, Denwicke, and Bondgate, and places called"the Three Parkes." Touching the custom of suit and service (i.e., grinding corn, &c.) alleged to be due from the tenants and others of said town, &c., to said ancient mills, &c., &c.: Northumberland.
