Thomas Lord Pelham.: Manors or lordships of Pett and Mersham, in the county of Sussex (of which "the Thetcher's heires were heretofore reputed, and since them" Andrew Wharton, late of Gray's Inn (Middlesex). Esq., and Edmund Boldsworth, citizen and haberdasher of London, "and others" were owners). "What sort of franchises, royaltyes, or priviledges do belong to or have been held, taken, or enjoyed by the owners of the said manors or lordships?" Metes and bounds. Right and title of owners of said manors to wrecks of the sea, &c., &c. [Several instances are given in evidence of the undisputed assertion of said right by the owners twenty and thirty years ago.]: Sussex
