Description

Short title: Bailiff of Kidderminster v Tayler.

Plaintiff(s): The bailiffe and burgesses of the borough of Kidderminster, Nichs Blankley, Thomas Willis, John Lynes alias Sugar, Thomas Hughes alias Price.

Defendant(s): John Tayler.

Subject of depositions: Town and borough of Kidderminster (Worcestershire). Touching the refusal of defendant to pay toll of market to the plaintiffs, because that "the toll dish the toll gatherer used in Kidderminster was larger than in other places" etc. Touching the comparative sizes of the market toll dishes kept and used in Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Kidderminster, and Bridgnorth.

Date of commission: 27 June 1694.
