Description

Short title: Armitage v Rowe.

Plaintiff(s): Robert Armitage.

Defendant(s): Josias Rowe, Mattw Wilkinson, John Wilkinson.

Subject of depositions: Suit in the Court of Chancery between Josias Rowe and Katherine his wife (daughter of William Armitage, esq,), plaintiffs, and the now plaintiff Robert Armitage (son and heir of the said William Armitage), and others, defendants. Touching the payment of the marriage portion of said Katherine, plaintiff's sister.

County/place: Yorkshire.

Date of commission: 27 June 1694.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 11 October 1694 at Almondbury.
