Description

Short title: Attorney General v Clarke.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Edward Ward, kt (Attorney General).

Defendant(s): Robert Clarke, John Clarke.

Subject of depositions: Thomas Love, the elder, late of Combs (Suffolk), an absconded bankrupt. Touching a farm in Combs of which said Love was tenant to the defendants, and distresses put in upon said farm by said defendants for arrears of rent.

County/place: Suffolk.

Date of commission: 12 February 1694.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 20 April 1694 at Stowmarket.
