Description

Short title: Deere v Mansell.

Plaintiff(s): William Deere.

Defendant(s): Sir Edward Mansell, bart William Aubrey, William Thomas, Roland Hughes, John Henson, Charles Jevans.

Subject of depositions: Escape of two prisoners from Cardiff gaol during the shrievalty of the defendant Mansell, who succeeded the defendant Aubrey in the year 1688, in the office of high sheriff of Glamorgan. Touching suits at law brought against said Sir Edward Mansell for said escapes.

County/place: Glamorgan.

Date of commission: 5 July 1693.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 28 September 1693 at Lantwitmajor, delivered itno Court 27 February 1694.
