Description

Short title: Williams v Griffith.

Plaintiff(s): Daniel Williams.

Defendant(s): Rees Griffith, William Walter, John Walter.

Subject of depositions: Honor or lordship of Brecon, in the parish of Ystrodvelty, in Brecon. Touching the custom of "suit and service" (i.e. grinding corn, etc.). to a water corn grist mill called Mellin Ystrodvelty or the Great Mill in Ystrodvelty. [The names and possessions of Thomas Awbrey, Sir John Awbrey, kt and bart William Bassett, and William Howard, are mentioned].

County/place: Breconshire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1692.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 9 April 1692 at Llanspithill.
