Description

Short title: Symonds v Prichard.

Plaintiff(s): John Symonds.

Defendant(s): Mary Prichard, widow, the relict of Thomas Prichard, esq. and Dorothy Prichard, daughter and heir of said Thomas Prichard, by Sir Henry, kt, her guardian.

Subject of depositions: Treaty of marriage between the defendant Mary, widow (daughter of Sir Henry Johnson, kt, deceased), and said Thomas Prichard (her late husband), the marriage settlement, the marriage portion given with said Mary, and what was settled upon her as jointure. Touching lands called "Hendrebasket Lands" and the two meadows adjoining thereto; lands called "Llanwethar Lands" Gworlod-dish-y-kae ", "Rossers Close ", "Kae-yr-odin" and "Ynis Gethin" which were hopp grounds, and "Maes Gwilta" now claimed by or to be mortgaged to the plaintiff by said Thomas Prichard, and the capital tenement called "Treurgan ", "The Meadow by the House" or "Kae Rhiny-y-Thoy Tie Mais Gwilta" aforesaid, and "Ynis Gethin" in the parishes of Llandenny and Ragland, and settled for the raising of two thousands pounds for the portion of defendant Dorothy. And lands called "Tregisogg" in the parishes of Llanissen and Llansoy; late of Walter Prichard, grandfather of said, Dorothy and of Thomas Prichard her said late father.
