Description

Short title: Gardner v Loder.

Plaintiff(s): John Gardner, clerk.

Defendant(s): Andrew Loder.

Subject of depositions: General pardon undertaken to be procured by defendant for plaintiff for the participation of plaintiff in Monmouth's rebellion and plaintiff's dissatisfaction with the "cursitory pardon" procured by defendant. Also touching moneys alleged to have been paid by plaintiff to defendant on account of his procuring said pardon. The price of pardons.

County/place: Somerset.

Date of commission: 28 November 1690.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 21 January 1691 at Taunton.
