Description

Short title: Morgan v Morris.

Plaintiff(s): John Morgan.

Defendant(s): Thomas Morris, John Smeade, William Morris.

Subject of depositions: Partnership between Benjamin Fleming, deceased, and defendants Thomas and John "for the carrying on and continuing a stage coach together for conveying passingrs from London to Exeter and from Exeter to London." And touching the continuation of her husband's share of said partnership by Susanna Fleming, widow of said Benjamin, and plaintiffs alleged right and title to the part and share of the said Benjamin in said stage as executor to said Susan, who was executrix of her late husband. The expulsion of plaintiff from said partnership. Cost of maintaining said coach and horses. Number and value of the horses kept.

County/place: Dorset.

Date of commission: 19 June 1689.
