Description

Short title: Shaftoe v Powell.

Plaintiff(s): Thomas Shaftoe.

Defendant(s): Thomas Powell, Michael Idle.

Subject of depositions: Messuages, in the flesh market in the parish of St Nicholas, in the town and county of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, the plaintiff's estate in fee and in his possession about the year 1666. [The names and possessions of Mary Welwany, Robert Kirsopp alias "Crissupp" and Robert and Joseph Powell, late of Newcastle-on-Tine, milliners, are mentioned].

County/place: Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

Date of commission: 28 November 1688.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 26 January 1689 at Newcastle, delivered into Court 11 June 1689.
