Subject of depositions: Manor of Epworth, and the commons, low grounds, and waste grounds within the same, "improved and dreyned by Sir Cornelius "Vermuden and his participants." Touching the seven thousand four hundred acres allotted to Chas I and Sir Cornelius for the King's interest and share therein, and the improvers' charge for draining and improving the whole. Also touching the award of Sir John Banks, kt (Attorney General to Charles 1), made concerning the "drainage" of the marshes, within the manor, and the decree of the Court of Exchequer made for the confirmation of the award.
