Description

Short title: Venables v Mauditt.

Plaintiff(s): John Venables.

Defendant(s): Jasper Mauditt.

Subject of depositions: "Accounts, dealings, and reckonings" between the parties to the suit. [Richard Venables, of Agden Hall (plaintiff's eldest brother), and Mrs Margaret Venables, of Whiston (their mother), are mentioned, as also that Richardmade over all his estate to the plaintiff on the understanding that plaintiff should pay all his debts.

County/place: Lancashire.

Date of commission: 28 November 1687.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 22 December 1687 at Farnworth, delivered into Court 7 February 1688.
