Description

Short title: Hickeringill v Sedley.

Plaintiff(s): Edward Hickeringill, clerk.

Defendant(s): Sir Charles Sedley, bart John Savage, George Pitts, George Field.

Subject of depositions: Four fields or closes called "Pillcrofts" and "Pilcrofts Mead" in Much Clackton, lands in Much Clacton called "Kings" and Clacton Hall (in defendants' possession and formerly belonging to Ambrose Brown), and the Site and farm called "Jaywich" in Much Clacton, lately belonging to Benjamin Rouse, deceased. Metes and bounds. Tithes.

County/place: Essex.

Date of commission: 17 November 1687.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 7 December 1687 at Chich St Osith.
