Subject of depositions: Alleged damage done to defendant by the miscarriage of his affairs at Hamburgh [Hamburg], in the hands of Solomon Slater, defendant's partner or factor there, and Richard Morse (plaintiff's late son), defendant's apprentice, who was sent over from England to Hamburg, to look after such affairs. Touching the customs prevailing among merchants as regards the liability of their apprentices sent abroad as aforesaid.
