Description

Short title: Chitty v Reeve.

Plaintiff(s): Ann Chitty, of Farnham, widow of Theophilus Chitty, late farmer of the impropriate rectory of Farnham.

Defendant(s): William Reeve.

Subject of depositions: Impropriate rectory of Farnham, leased by the Archdeacon of Surrey to Sir Thomas Vernon, and by Sir Thomas to the Theophilus Chitty (plaintiff's late husband). Tithes.

County/place: Surrey.

Date of commission: 12 February 1687.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 30 and 31 March 1687 at Farnham.
