Description

Short title: George v George.

Plaintiff(s): William George.

Defendant(s): Ann George, widow, William Warne, Nathaniel Earle, Thomas Lee.

Subject of depositions: Manors of Norcott, Baunton, and Chelworth (Gloucester and Wilts), and lands and tenements in Cirencester, Ampney, Ashbrook, Eastington, and Bagenton (Gloucestershire), lately belonging to John George (the plaintiff's late uncle). [James George, plaintiff's brother, and late husband of defendant Anne (formerly married to Thomas Shadwell), are mentioned].

County/place: Gloucestershire; Wiltshire.

Date of commission: 28 November 1685.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 16 January 1686 at Cirencester.
