Subject of depositions: Manor of Ottham (Sussex), of which plaintiff is owner. Touching lands called "The Mounts" alias "The Mounse ", "Cuts Croft" and Farmstreete (heretofore belonging to Thomas Selwyn), in the parishes of Ottham, Hailsham, and Fegington, since in the tenure of Anne, the widow of Robert Gratwick, and sometime in the tenure of George Dunck. Whether a quit-rent was paid to the manor for the premises? Also touching lands in the parish of Westham (Sussex), called Thornlands, formerly in the possession of John and Catherine Thetcher. Whether liable to the payment of a fee-farm rent of £16 13s 4d due to His Majesty out of the manor.
