Description

Short title: Hammond v Chancellor of the University of Cambridge.

Plaintiff(s): Amy Hammond, widow, Anthony Hammond, Thomas Sargeant, Richard Bland, Thomas Williams, Robert Clark, Samuel Smith, John Wilson, John Stokley, Francis Stevens, Richard Reade, Josh. Sanson, Richard Gowler, Samuel Clements. William Soule, Henry Merrell, Thomas Spalton, John Moore, Francis Bodger, Dudly Hareman, William Bridge, Thomas Barnard.

Defendant(s): The chancellor, masters, and schollars of the University of Cambridge, Joseph Beaumont, DD, Nicholas Johnson.

Subject of depositions: Rectory and parish of Somersham (Huntington), and lands in the parish called "Somersham Park." Touching a "tythe bucke or tythe doe, or ten shillings in money" paid in lieu of the tythe for the lands. Tithes.
