Plaintiff(s): George Potts and his wife Anne.
Defendant(s): William Chafin, Walter Forward, Luke Chafin, Mary Chafin, Henry Coker and his wife Rachael.
Subject of depositions: Manors of Zeals Clevidon and Woodland, late of Richard Chafin (defendant's father), who was fined £500 in the Star Chamber, the fine being transferred to the Exchequer; and two extents out of the Exchequer at the suit of Charles the First (dated 25 September and 3 October 14 Chas I), and both granted over (about 19 February 14 Chas I) to Thomas Smith, and possessed after Thomas by his executor Thomas Penruddock, and after him by John Penruddock for the use of the daughter of Thomas. Touching the rent of a tenement, called "Potters Tenement" in Upper Zeales alias Zeales Clevidon (aforesaid), occupied by James Hall and his daughter Ann Hall.

Date of commission: 28 November 1684.
