Description

Short title: Smith v Steele.

Plaintiff(s): William Smith.

Defendant(s): William Steele, Thomas Malbon, Edward Worthington.

Subject of depositions: Lease of the Blewboare Inn, in Holborn (Middlesex), made by Sir Thomas Fisher, baronet, to Thomas Smith (plaintiff's late father), and also a lease of a messuage adjoining to the inn from thetrustees of the poor in the parish of St Clement's, in Middlesex, to Thomas Smith. Touching mortgages of leases.

County/place: Cheshire; Middlesex.

Date of commission: 18 June 1684.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 2 September 1684 at Wyhunbury.
