Description

Short title: Mather v Fleetwood.

Plaintiff(s): Katherine Mather, widow, administratrix of the goods and chattels of Thomas Mather, Jonathan Blackburn, Robert Barker, of Middleton.

Defendant(s): Edward Fleetwood, Robert Nowell, Christopher Banastre.

Subject of depositions: Offices of high sheriff of the county palatine of Lancaster, held by the defendant Christopher Banastre, and of under sheriff, held by Thomas Mather, of Warrington (plaintiff's late husband). Touching the accounts connected with the execution of the offices. Sale of the office of under sherriff or county clerk.

County/place: Lancashire.

Date of commission: 18 June 1684.
