Description

Short title: Bell v Nicholson.

Plaintiff(s): George Bell and his wife Elizabeth.

Defendant(s): Mary Nicholson, widow, James Nicholson.

Subject of depositions: Bond entered into by Robert Nicholson (late husband of defendant Mary) and Hugh James, with Arthur Foster (late husband of defendant, Elizabeth), and the estate, debts, of Robert Nicholson (late father of defendant James), including a mortgage of the tithes of Crosby and Rickerby.

County/place: Cumberland.

Date of commission: 20 May 1684.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 30 May 1684 at Rickergate.
