Description

Short title: Taylor v Townshend.

Plaintiff(s): Ralph Taylor.

Defendant(s): Henry Townshend and his wife Anne. Thomas Lowbridge.

Subject of depositions: Manor of Elmley Lovett (late of Sir John Acton, deceased), and the manor or "reputed" manor or farm of Merrington, lately belonging to Philip Brace, and now in the possession of the plaintiff...... lying in the parishes of Elmley Lovett and Elmbridge, and the wastes and commons belonging, called Cutnall Green and the Broad Greene. Touching the right, title, and interest of the lord of the manor of Elmley Lovett in the soil of the waste. Metes and bounds. Right of common. Encroachment on waste.

County/place: Worcestershire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1684.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 16 April 1684 at Ombersley.
