Description

Short title: Aldcroft v Hesketh.

Plaintiff(s): George Aldcroft.

Defendant(s): Robert Hesketh and his wife Elizabeth, administrators of William Ashton, deceased.

Subject of depositions: Estates of John Ashton, late of Dunham Massy (Cheshire), and William Ashton, late of same place, brother of John. Touching precepts of fieri facias issued out of the court of Altrincham held for the barony of Dunham Massy, and directed to the plaintiff (then bailiff or officer of that court) for levying execution upon the goods, of John or William, including leases of messuages, in Dunham Massy, and a tenement called "Cooks Tenement" etc.

County/place: Cheshire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1684.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 26 March 1684 at Altrincham.
