Description

Short title: Featherstonhaugh v Barnfather.

Plaintiff(s): Timothy Featherstonhaugh.

Defendant(s): Robert Barnfather.

Subject of depositions: Rectory, parsonage, or tithes impropriate and parish of Kirk Oswold, and a messuage, etc. of the defendant lying at Swarthgill and Haskewgh, in that parish. Whether parcel of the common or waste grounds belonging to the manor of Haskughe? etc. Tithes. [Thomas Featherstonhaugh and Sir Timothy Featherstonhaugh, plaintiff's father and grandfather, are mentioned].

County/place: Cumberland.

Date of commission: 27 June 1683.
