Subject of depositions: Rectory of Whitby leased to the plaintiff by the late Archbishop of York, the parish of Whitby, the late abbey of Whitby, and the constablery of Ruswarp in the rectory and parish. Whether defendant's lands in the constablery are tithe free as being parcel of the abbey lands --particularly lands called Bagdale Orchard--or whether his lands anciently belonged to "the Conyers" and were no part of the abbey lands?.
