Description

Short title: Alcock v Alcock.

Plaintiff(s): Stephen Alcock.

Defendant(s): Mary Alcock, widow, and Margaret Alcock, daughter and heiress of Edward Alcock (an infant), by her guardian.

Subject of depositions: Last will and testament and the estate of Edward Alcock, deceased (late elder brother of plaintiff, husband of defendant Mary, and father of defendant Margaret), including, copyhold, freehold, and leasehold messuages, in Prescott and in the honor of Widnes, lands in Eccleston (held by lease under Mr Eccleston), lands in Scolls within Eccleston, Whiston, Knowsley, Huyton, Sutton, Herdshaw within Windle, etc. Also touching the portion of his daughter the defendant Margaret.

County/place: Lancashire.

Date of commission: 28 November 1682.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 19 January 1683 at Ormskirk.
