Subject of depositions: Towns of Spawnton and Appleton, in the parish of Lestingham. Touching a lease of "two parts in three" of the tithes of the towns made by the Archbishop of York to the plaintiff Richard, and the other third part to go to the vicar of Lestingham. Whether such towns were parcel of the late dissolved Abbey of St Mary, near the walls of the city of York? Metes and bounds. Tithes.
