Defendant(s): John Lord Bishop of Rochester, Lord Almoner to his Matie, and Alexander Withers.
Subject of depositions: Estate which Richard Withers, late of Quantoxhead (Somerset) (a felo de se), died possessed of, which estate was bestowed by His Majesty upon the plaintiff, servant in ordinary to his Majesty, and a caveat entered by Sir Edmond Wyndham, then Knight Marshall, to hinder the warrant to passe the privy seale to the plaintiff, upon Sir Edmond's "pretences" that his Majesty had bestowed such estate upon him, which were denied by his Majesty, who ordered the warrant to pass for Kingsmill. Value of estate. Estate including lands called Wibble lying in the parish of St Decuman's (Somerset).
