Description

Short title: Leigh v Chadd.

Plaintiff(s): The Hon. Charles Leigh.

Defendant(s): Thomas Chadd.

Subject of depositions: Prebend and parsonage and the parish of Leighton Bussard (Bedford), and the hamlets of Heath and Rach in such parish, and the manor of Tuddington (Bedford), the rectory of Tuddington and grounds called Wadlowes orWadlow Hookes and Maglane in the parish of Tuddington. Whether the grounds were parcel of the possessions of the late dissolved priory of Dunstable? (Bedford). Also touching grounds called Gleadly Wares, and ground called Innelands, in the parish of Houghton Regis (Bedford). Tithes.

County/place: Bedfordshire.

Date of commission: 13 February 1682.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 29 April 1682 at Leighton Bussard.
