Description

Short title: Kettleby v Corbet.

Plaintiff(s): Thomas Kettleby, clerk.

Defendant(s): Richard Corbet, William Jones, Thomas Smith.

Subject of depositions: Church, manor, rectory, and vicarage of Avenbury, and the late dissolved abbey of Dore. Tithes. [A grant of the manor, rectory, made by Edward VI. by Letters Patent under the Great Seal, to John Harford, esq, and John Farley, yeomen, and other impropriations granted by the grant, namely Ledbury, Bosbury, the chantery of Frome Canon, Eagleton, and Weston, are mentioned].

County/place: Herefordshire.

Date of commission: 28 November 1681.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 12 January 1682 at Hereford.
