Subject of depositions: Town and manor of Ottery St Mary, and the ancient water cornmills in the town, commonly called the Town Mills. Touching the custom of "suit and grist" to the ancient mills (i.e. grinding corn, etc) [William Cook and John Spark (owners of the mills), are mentioned].
