Description

Short title: Townsend v Skipp.

Plaintiff(s): Charles Townsend, clerk.

Defendant(s): John Skipp.

Subject of depositions: Vicarage and parish of Ledbury, the manor of Ledbury, and the two parsonages, one called "the Overhall" (occupied by defendant) and the other called "the Netherall" (occupied by John Elton). Whether the manor is parcel of the bishopric of Hereford and free of all tithes to "parson or vicar" etc. Tithes.

County/place: Herefordshire.

Date of commission: 28 November 1677.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 19 January 1678 at Ledbury.
