Description

Short title: Hill v Humphreys.

Plaintiff(s): Edward Hill, Henry Elkins, Robert Braine, John Wells.

Defendant(s): Thomas Humphreys, Edward Holliock, Valentine Allen, Thomas Hayes, Samuel Fox, John Fox.

Subject of depositions: Manor or lordship of Rothwell (Northamptonshire), formerly belonging to Sir John Lamb, lately to Basil Earl of Denbigh, and now to the defendant Hill. Touching a farm in Rothwell alias Rowell, called "The Hall Farme" or "the demesne lands" and an ancient sheepwalk belonging to Hall Farme. Metes and bounds. Right of common of pasture.

County/place: Northamptonshire.

Date of commission: 4 July 1677.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 10 October 1677 at Rothwell.
