Plaintiff(s): Richard Cox, clerk, Henry Weare, James Sam.
Defendant(s): Edward Philly.
Subject of depositions: "A certain ecclesiastical office or dignity in or belonging to the Cathedral Church of Hereford, called a treasurer, or the office or dignity of the treasurer" (to which Henry, defendant's late father, was collated). "Is said office endowed with a corps or benefice, or other annuall profits or revenew, etc." Duties of such office. Also concerning the offices of "clavinger" and "sub-treasurer" or "under treasurer" of said Cathedral. Touching a yearly pension or salary claimed by plaintiff Cox (as sub-treasurer) of the late treasurer Henry Phillis (defendant's late father). Also touching the office of sextons of the church filled by the other plaintiffs (Weare and Sam), and their claim upon the late treasurer for a yearly pension or salary.
