Description

Short title: Earl of Exeter v Dorrington.

Plaintiff(s): The Rt Hon John Earl of Exeter.

Defendant(s): Francis Dorrington.

Subject of depositions: Messuage, in the parish of Stamford Baron (Northamptonshire), called "The Nunn's Lands" or "St Michaels" situate in the parishes of St Martin's, Stamford Baron, Pilsgate, Welthorpe, and Bainton. Touching the enclosure of part of such lands in the plaintiff's park called Burghley Park. Metes and bounds. [Richard Coney and Samuel Ross are mentioned].

County/place: Northamptonshire.

Date of commission: 28 May 1677.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 5 June 1677 at Stamford Baron.
