Description

Short title: Norton v Bastard.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Henry Norton, baronet.

Defendant(s): William Bastard, Nicholas Ford, Dory. Ford, widow, Dory. Street, widow, James Hext, Thomas Ellis.

Subject of depositions: Rectory of Stokenham alias Stockingham, extending itself into the parishes of Stokenham, Sherford, and Chivelston (Devon), and bartons, etc. called "Start ", "The Lees ", "Southallington ", "The Hill Field" lying in those parishes. Tithes.

County/place: Devon.

Date of commission: 28 November 1676.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 3 January 1677 at Kingsbridge.
