Description

Short title: Kett v Hawys.

Plaintiff(s): Thomas Kett.

Defendant(s): Roger Hawys, Richard Warner.

Subject of depositions: Farming of the excise of beer, ale, etc, in the counties of Norfolk, Suffolk, and Essex, and the "compounding, collecting, and gathering of same." Touching the expenses attending those operations. Accounts of arrears of excise.

County/place: Norfolk.

Date of commission: 12 February 1674.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 20 April 1674 at Norwich.
