Description

Short title: Banister v Jonas.

Plaintiff(s): Christopher Banister.

Defendant(s): William Jonas.

Subject of depositions: Capital messuage, tenement, and mansion-house of Catterall, near Wyre (Lancashire), and the demesnes belonging, and a water corn-mill and kiln adjoining, lately belonging to Robert Sherborn, of Little Mitton, and "sequestered" by the late Parliament for the "delinquency" of Robert Mortgage.

County/place: Lancashire.

Date of commission: 28 November 1671.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 8 January 1672 at Chorley.
