Subject of depositions: Assessment of twelve hundred and threescore thousand pounds by Act of Parliament granted to the King's Majesty, and levied by threescore and ten thousand pounds by the month for eighteen months and the appointment of Sir Thomas Osborne (sheriff of York) in 1663 as receiver-general for the assessment, and the substitution of plaintiff by Sir Thomas, and such other persons as the plaintiff should appoint to receive and pay the moneys and execute the office of receiver. Touching the defalcations of William Parker, late of York, plaintiff's deputy or sub-agent.
