Whether papers and memorials of the usages and custom of the parish were kept in a chest in the church? Jurisdiction of the Governors as to new building, altering, etc. the seats, "and placing the inhabitants of such parish in such degree and order as they have thought fitt" making the rates, maintaining the church, choosing the churchwardens.
