Description

Short title: Attorney General v Bateman.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Jeffrey Palmer, kt and bart (Attorney General), on behalf of several of the King's tenants of Westmorland.

Defendant(s): Roger Bateman, Thomas Skaife.

Subject of depositions: Lordship of Hutton, and the commons and waist grounds called Edge and Kinn, and defendants' messuage called Hutton Park. Metes and bounds. Right of common on waste.

County/place: Westmorland.

Date of commission: 10 June 1668.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 23 September 1668 at Kendal.
