Description

Short title: Attorney General v Doughty.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Jeffrey Palmer, kt and bart (Attorney General), by the relation of Bevil Skelton, George Arnett, and George Coldham, relators.

Defendant(s): Robert Doughty.

Subject of depositions: Farming of the excise (in the counties of Norfolk, Suffolk, and Essex) by defendant and others. Touching arrears of "the rent of thirty-six thousand pounds per annum reserved to the late Protector Oliver Cromwell for said excise".

County/place: Norfolk; Suffolk; Essex.

Date of commission: 10 June 1668.
