Description

Short title: Palmer v Radcliffe.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Jeffrey Palmer, kt and bart.

Defendant(s): John Radcliffe, Thomas Cressey, 'and others.'.

Subject of depositions: River Wye (Surrey). Touching the first undertaking to make the river navigable from the town of Guildford to the River Thames. What part Sir Richard Weston late of Sutton,took therein? What lands cut through of Sir Richard Weston, of Sir Robert Parkhurst, of Purdford, of Sir George Askew, and others? Satisfaction to owners of lands. Opposition made to undertaking. Sale by defendants of their interest in the undertaking. Obstruction to the navigation. Touching the manors of Sutton, Purford, and Byfleet through which the new river runs.

County/place: Surrey.

Date of commission: 28 November 1667.
