Description

Short title: Lee v Zouch.

Plaintiff(s): Richard Lee, Edmund Hone.

Defendant(s): James Zouch, Thomas Harwood.

Subject of depositions: Manor of Woking (Surrey) and the tything of Mayford therein. Touching a serjeancy of sheriff's aid of 20s. payable to the sheriff of Surrey or his deputy out of such tything. Anciently called a "serjeancy" and now called a "sheriff's aid" etc.

County/place: Surrey.

Date of commission: 28 November 1666.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 21 January 1667 at Chertsey.
